History & Garden - Dutch Revival, built in 1899. The grass was removed in 2022 and fully re-landscaped into a lovely oasis with a touch of whimsy

Garden - Dating back to 1979, West Washington Park Community Garden (WWPCG) is a community garden dedicated to sustainable organic gardening, education, and community. Currently, the garden has over 100 gardeners growing on 75 plots. (dug.org/garden/wwpcg)

12. 33 E Bayaud Ave
History - The Ross-Broadway branch of the Denver Public Library is a unique example of Usonian architecture. Finished in 1951, the one-story steel-framed brick building is on the National Register of Historic Places. History - A Farmhouse Queen Anne style home built circa 1886/1889

History - This Queen Anne home received Denver Historic Landmark Designation in 2014 and received the honor of the “Mayor’s Design Award” in 2015. It is part of the “200 Block South Lincoln Street Historic District”

History - Victorian built in 1906. Learn about the Charpiot family and the female builder of the home, one of the first women pioneers in Denver who was also the first costumer in the state and a member of the Pioneer Ladies Aid Society. Other members of the family who lived here included the founder of the Charpiot safe company, a famous naval commander Pearl Harbor hero

This is a FREE event. There are no tickets to buy, and the map of participating locations will be posted here on the WWPNA website. Our goal is just to get neighbors out enjoying our neighborhood and learning a little about our history and water-wise gardening in the process.
Locations around the West Wash Park neighborhood will have posters up giving some info about either their yard or the history of the home/business.
